Badmintonclub Rednitzhembach e. V. was founded on 16 May 1983. The club was founded by 11 founding members. The aim was to integrate a new and not yet very well-known sport in the community of Rednitzhembach as an independent club.
In the very first year after its foundation, the club was able to enter a team in the then C-Class Mittelfranken league. Within a short time, more and more members were found and the youth section also began to grow. At times, there were up to 3 teams, with the first team even being allowed to knock on the door of the Bayernligator once. We are currently competing in the district league B.
